With it's catchy melody and melancholic vocals & flute, Pretty Shiny Things is the second single of Australian singer/songwriter Leela Misel.

"I wrote this song as a rebellion to my own materialism and consumerism. Thinking back to my teenage years of dreaming of one day owning all the 'pretty shiny things'. Yet decades later, I have a house, car and guitar but still dream of owning all the 'pretty shiny things'. What have we realised after the pandemic? What use is all those things?"
